On August 2–3, 2025, IRCAD India successfully hosted the Stillbirth: Prevention & Management conclave — a first-of-its-kind national initiative led by Course Directors Dr. Shweta Bhandari, Prof. Dr. Tamkin Khan, and Dr. Anita Kaul.
The two-day academic event brought together over 100 participants and a distinguished panel of national and international faculty, all committed to addressing the critical issue of stillbirths in India.
The program featured three focused workshops:
- CTG Mastery in the Labour Room . – empowering clinicians with skills for early detection and timely intervention</li>
- Perinatal Autopsy. – training professionals in identifying biological causes to prevent future losse</li>
- Bereavement Care. – equipping healthcare providers with compassionate tools to support grieving families
A full-day Scientific Program followed, covering evidence-based lectures, real-case discussions, and a dynamic academic debate on Elective Induction at 39 Weeks.
This event marked an important milestone in advancing clinical excellence, diagnostic clarity, and empathetic care in the field of maternal-fetal health.
