India’s First Robotic Assisted Thoracic Surgery – Advanced Course at IRCAD India, Indore, delivered an exclusive hands-on training program in robotic thoracic surgery. Participants received structured training on the SSI Mantra, da Vinci, and MedBot Toumai robotic platforms through expert-led lectures, cadaveric dissection, and immersive practical sessions. The curriculum covered advanced robotic thoracic procedures, including lung resections, sleeve and tracheal resections, mediastinal tumors, bedside robotic assistance, surgical safety, and operative decision-making. With only 12 thoracic surgeons divided equally across the three robotic platforms, the course ensured personalized mentorship and intensive skill development in a world-class robotic training environment.
