IRCAD India, in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson, proudly conducted the first-ever VELYS Hip & Knee Arthroplasty Cadaveric Training in India — a significant step toward advancing technology-assisted joint replacement. The program introduced the VELYS Hip System, a breakthrough digital platform that enables intraoperative analysis, digital templating, and real-time data to deliver precision in restoring offset, leg length, cup inclination, and anteversion.
This 2-day hands-on cadaveric training, led by Dr. Timothy Bruce Alton (Proliance Hospital, Seattle), brought together 12 leading Hip KOLs from across the country. The immersive sessions focused on accuracy, reproducibility, and the integration of digital tools in arthroplasty workflows.
The trained delegates will now cascade this expertise across India, strengthening the nation’s digital orthopaedic ecosystem and supporting the shared mission to Keep People Moving.
Facility Feedback: Participants praised IRCAD India for its world-class infrastructure, advanced cadaveric labs, and seamless training environment.
