Sri Aurobindo University, in collaboration with IRCAD India, hosted an advanced Hands-On Training in Laparoscopic Skills for Surgical Postgraduates, providing an exceptional platform for aspiring surgeons to hone their skills and learn from the best in the field on 7th and 8th Nov 2024.
The two-day event featured a comprehensive training program that combined theoretical learning with practical application. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Vinod Bhandari, Founder Chairman of SAIMS, Dr. Mohit Bhandari, President of IRCAD India, and Dr. Mahak Bhandari, Course Director and Vice President of IRCAD India. Their guidance set the tone for a transformative learning experience.
Day 1 Highlights: The first day began with expert-led lectures, offering deep insights into advanced laparoscopic techniques. Surgical postgraduates were then given a rare opportunity to observe live OT sessions, showcasing real-time laparoscopic procedures. The day concluded with participants engaging in WET Lab hands-on training, refining their skills in a controlled, practical environment.
Day 2 Highlights: The second day continued with interactive sessions, live surgeries, and more hands-on training, ensuring that every participant received personalized instruction and feedback. Dr. Mahak Bhandari, along with renowned faculty including Dr. Manoj Kela, Dr. Arun Mishra, and Dr. Mrigendra Singh, led the sessions, offering expert guidance and ensuring that participants gained valuable skills.
The event ended with the certification ceremony, where participants were awarded certificates of completion, marking the successful culmination of this enriching learning journey.
