IRCAD India in association with IAGE successfully conducted the EMPOWER Program at IRCAD India on 23–24 May 2026, delivering an intensive and immersive learning experience focused on advancing robotic gynaecological surgery skills.
The program emphasized robotic precision, platform intelligence, camera and depth control, bimanual dexterity, tissue handling, docking techniques, and advanced suturing across the SSI Mantra and Da Vinci Si systems. Participants engaged in structured hands-on rotations, robotic hysterectomy simulations, tissue dissection exercises, pedicle control, vault closure techniques, and discussions on hysterectomy, myomectomy, and endometriosis management.
A key highlight of the course was the Complication Engineering Lab, where participants managed simulated surgical challenges and decision-making under pressure through the “Surgeon Under Stress” module. Combined with interactive faculty feedback and platform-switch training, the program delivered a high-impact learning experience focused on precision, adaptability, and confidence in robotic gynaecological surgery.
