WebSurg is the IRCAD’s free online university. Launched by Professor Jacques Marescaux and his team at the European Institute of TeleSurgery (EITS) in Strasbourg in 2000, WebSurg specializes in minimally invasive surgery and is dedicated to promoting medical and surgical training skills. Created for surgeons by surgeons, WebSurg facilitates their training and enables them to communicate with other experts from all over the world. It quickly became the international reference for online surgical training in minimally invasive surgery.

WebSurg is a worldwide reference in e-learning with its huge video library of laparoscopic, endoscopic, and robotic surgery. There are more than 5,000 high-definition videos, ranging from surgical procedures, operating techniques, expert opinions, and video contributions submitted by members.

Register for WebSurg and watch the videos related to your topic of interest. The online curriculum includes lectures, operative videos, learning resources, and key publications related to a specific topic. During the live webinars, you will also have the opportunity to discuss topics with experts from around the globe.
At the end of each module, there is an assessment which you can use to earn CME credits. Only one answer is correct/incorrect as specified out of the options provided. The test can only be taken once a year, so make sure you pay attention during your online course!
