On November 24, 2023, Prof. Jacques Marescaux traveled to Indore, India, for the official signing ceremony marking the establishment of IRCAD India, a new addition to the IRCAD Family.
The partnership was formalized in collaboration with Sri Aurobindo University-SAU, founded by Dr. Vinod Bhandari. Dr. Mohit Bhandari has assumed the role of President at IRCAD India, with his brother, Mahak Bhandari, serving as Vice-President. Dr. Galvao Neto has been appointed as the Scientific Director.
A notable advantage of the university lies in its attainment of government approval for a “fourth dimension education,” facilitating the active participation of IRCAD graduates in the surgical theaters of Indore University Hospital.
